We’re home from Vegas and extremely tired. We took the red eye home, and we’re supposed to sleep all the way home. However, the flight was very, very turbulent. And I am a nervous flier. Therefore, I pretty much wrung my hands and hyperventilated all the way home. Probably I should learn more about turbulence and how it will not likely cause my plane to fall from the sky. Or get some drugs. Drugs would likely help.
I know you all are probably wondering how we made out in Vegas, after my original post with my night one success. Yes, I did indeed stay out all night our first night in Vegas and came back to the room $500 richer.
Friday I was not so lucky. Oh boy, did I stink up the tables on Friday.
Saturday, well, oh maybe I wasn’t so hot Saturday either. We did go see a show though! We debated shows to see, and had it narrowed down to the Improv at Harrah’s comedy show or seeing comedian George Wallace. In the end, we opted for the Improv, because it was cheaper. We got our seats, ordered some $10 drinks, and enjoyed the host and first comedian. Then they introduced a special guest comedian and who walks out, but George Wallace. He didn’t do a long segment, but still! We saw George Wallace for free! It was an excellent choice we made.
Sunday we decided to screw the strip and their $10 tables and headed downtown to the low-rent district. $5 tables every direction and a different clientele but we had fun and made money. I played craps for several hours without having to break out extra money. We played roulette. We even won at Black Jack and I never win at Black Jack.
Oh, and on Sunday I had a spectacular roll that netted me $95 in tips. One guy threw $50 from the other end of the table, and I said “thank you” and he looked down and said, “No, thank you!”
That pretty much sums up our Vegas Vacation. We had a lot of fun but I am ready to sleep tonight!
